I have always enjoyed the study of personal finance. Money is a phenomena that touches nearly every aspect of human life. This ubiquitousness is what makes it fascinating. To study money is to study a large part of the human experience. To understand money is to understand the underlying motivating force behind just about everything. 

Me, on the water off the coast of Maine.

Personally, I have learned that careful stewardship of limited resources is what is required to live a life of abundance, a life that is in alignment with my values. I am big on savings and big on being debt-free.


This blog is intended to educate, edify and entertain.  I use it to share my journey, what I have learned, and what I am still learning!
